On Sunday Nic shared his first message as our new Lead Pastor, offering us an insight into how he became a Christian. The message focuses on Romans 12: 1-2 a call to 'true and proper worship' that does not conform to the pattern of this world, but transforms us as we renew our minds.

Stephen considers what it means to 'Seek first the kingdom of God' and how it is both now in our midst and not yet, the fulfilment that is ahead. No matter where we are at, God is encouraging us to become Kingdom people, and take one step to participate in his story, becoming more like Jesus.

On Sunday we had special guest speaker and Goodlife All Star; Ryan Smith. He shared a message based on Jesus' story in Luke 14: 12-24 on The Great Banquet table. Ryan reminds us that we are ALL invited, but so often we have excuses. God is building his church by building a bigger table, who are we inviting to join in?

On Sunday, Mike Hardie shared with us one his final messages as lead paster at Goodlife. If you've missed that update you can find it here: In his message, Mike is revisiting the idea of "Thank God You're Here", a message he shared over 4 years ago about how can we, as followers of christ, be a group of people that when we show up in a situation people go; "Thank God You're Here".

This sermon takes a look at 2 Kings 6 which demonstrates the God of everyday problems and that to live in the way of Jesus is to show up and be a presences that says:

- Your problem matters to God

- Help is available

- Restoration is possible

On Sunday, Mike shared a beautiful message about The Shema and how Jesus creates a radical combo of new and old teaching that all law and prophets hang on 2 things: 

1. Love the lord our God with all of our Heart, Soul, Mind & Strength

2. Love our neighbour as we love ourself

Mike highlights how Jesus is reshaping The Shema and a passage from Leviticus as a radical combo - A THEOLOGICAL EARTHQUAKE!
