Eph 5:8-14 takes up the 4th of the 5 'walks' in the "Now you know grace, therefore..." part of Ephesians. "Walk as children of light." Light represents goodness, knowledge, guidance, God Himself. The Bible is your light. Preachers give light. You are to shine as lights.

The whole restless world is asking the same question: who will show us some good? In Psalm 4, a king with trouble pressing in on every side finds an answer that lets him lie down and sleep in peace, and it isn't a change in his circumstances. It's a face: the shining face of God, promised in an ancient blessing and finally revealed in Jesus Christ. Listen to "The Light of Your Face," and hear why, when God lifts up His face, His people can lay down their heads.
