Many of us live in groups of houses - some call them subdivisions, others call them neighborhoods. Subdivision can be a correct term if we come home from work or school, shut the garage door, and stay inside. Some of us live isolated and individualistic lives. Others of us call our area a neighborhood, with open garage doors, kids playing outside, getting the mail for our neighbors when they're out of town, etc. Sometimes, whether we live in a subdivision or a neighborhood is up to us, the posture we carry towards our neighbors, and whether we're willing to create margin for them.

In 2017 its possible to broadcast anything worldwide: your location, what you're doing, or what you're having for dinner. It's harder than ever before to keep something secret. But who are you when no one sees you? Sometimes our motives are revealed by what we keep secret.

There are lots of reasons for wanting to keep something a secret- maybe we don't want attention, or maybe we'll be embarrassed. But things that are done in darkness are done so for a reason. Everyone has things in life, past or present, that they would rather keep a secret. What does this tell us about ourselves, and what does it have to do with God?

Secret recipes, secret gift givers, secret surprise parties- secrets don't have to be a bad thing. How well we keep secrets can be a good gauge of our character. Are you the type of person that can keep a secret?

Jesus arrived in Jerusalem just as the week-long festival of Passover was about to begin. The city's population swelled to more than 200,000 as visitors came to the Holy City to celebrate Israel's defining story - how God had delivered the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. As Jesus arrived, the crowds yelled "Hosanna!" By the end of the week, they yelled "Crucify him!"
