Nobody likes to be left out of a party or gathering. One day God met with Abram—who at the time didn't have any kids—to tell him (and us) that He would establish an eternal covenant to invite the entire world into a life-changing relationship (we're all included)!

At times, life can feel overwhelming…like too many things and too many people are out of control. Sometimes we want to hit the reset button, and start all over. When God saw His creation acting so far out of character that there seemed to be few other options to maintaining a relationship, God sent a flood to reset our relationship with him. When we see rainbows, we are reminded how committed God is to His pursuit of us.

The Old Testament can seem like it's locked in time and not as applicable to our lives as the New Testament. As Adam and Eve struggle with temptation, they help us learn that there are healthy boundaries set to help us succeed. We learn about ourselves when we experience the repercussions that come from our actions and behaviors.

Trust can draw us closer to God, and doubt can also draw us closer to God. Sometimes we feel like doubting God is a bad thing, but have you ever considered doubting God as a way to strengthen your faith?

We are going to mess up. Does our mess-up cause us to give up? God calls us to be perfect "as I am perfect". How is this even possible? If the ideal is too high, it might feel like the only alternative is to walk away. Do we believe that God's grace can cover our mess-ups? God uses flawed people to share hope with a flawed world.
