Google Ads Ad Strength Is Not a Performance Indicator
Ad Strength in Google Ads shows how complete and varied your responsive search ad is. It measures things like how many headlines and descriptions you add, how unique they are, and whether they use your keywords.
But Ad Strength does not show how well your ads are set up or how they will perform. You can have an Excellent score and still get poor conversions, or a Low score and still drive profitable results. The rating is only about following Google’s recommendations, not actual business outcomes.
The true measure of success is in leads, sales, and return on ad spend. Use Ad Strength as a guide for writing ads, but never confuse it with performance.
