Goose Chasers, we are back with another great episode this week. We posted a photo of an old, man made tree stand a week or so ago that got a lot of hype because of the story behind it. The stand and the tree it was in has since fallen down so RIP to that stand but the memories we made in it will last forever. We shot our first GOOD buck ever out of that stand and the story is pretty insane! We also talk through some light food plot stuff, Dean's bachelor party and one of our buddies who thinks he can tackle Derrick Henry. Its a good one, lets go!
After a little week off of traveling last week we are back and better then ever! This week we sit down and talk about some new ground we have acquired, the upcoming events on Food Plot Chronicles, a brand NEW partner we are excited about and a new mini series this year called Scrape Week! Its a shorter episode and Dean bales on us mid way through but its a good one! Lets go!
This week we reflect on a solo turkey hunt Deano had on our land up in New York. The footage is incredible and it really made us think about where we have come from and how our dream has essentially come true. We can always talk about improvements and different things we can change on the property to make it better but the footage speaks for itself and creating memories like that on the land we grew up hunting on is most definitely the dream coming true. We also talk a little culinary class and making different things with venison to spice it up. Finally, Hawaiian rolls. The glorious gluten that everyone should have in their kitchen at all times. Its a good episode. Lets get it!
We had an awesome week last week at Camp Cutlet for the opening few days of the season of turkey hunting. We talk through our adventures and the 2 birds we killed, American Idol and how its a positive and happy show, the Cleveland Browns new logo, and how Alanis Morissette is the queen of 90's music. All good stuff and all a great time. Lets go!
First Tennessee bird down! Turkey season is underway and Uncle J and Dave got it done on a couple long beards after a long and drawn out hunt. On this weeks episode we talk through the hunt and field some questions from our social media followers. We also talk through hunting trends that we like and some that we not so like! Saddle up and lets go!
This week on Goose Chasing we talk about the very important topic of how to name the bucks you hunt, why some people think that is stupid, why naming your bucks is actually super necessary, our favorite bucks names from the past, ordering for your girl at Starbucks, how Chipotle has gone consistently down hill, loosening up the G String, and much much more!
We're back baby! I am back with Deano and we got an awesome episode in the works for our 10th episode. Crazy how time flies. This episode we talk some more sports, the Cavs terrible start in Game 1 of the playoffs, why on earth they didn't play Danny Green, and then we took some questions from YOU guys and told the story of Camp Cutlet, life before camp, how we bought it, the renovations that we have done, and some of the experiences and memories we have shared since 2014. Its a good one! Lets GO!
Deano is solo this week on the Goose Chasing podcast. Come along as he talks about getting ready for turkey season, the challenges of calling and Dean and Dave's first ever turkey kills. Aside from that, being a basketball fan, he discusses the Cleveland Cavaliers playoff preview and reminisces their 2016 championship.
Goose chasing is a crazy business and this week will blow you mind. We had a listener and TAGNBRAG supporter message us on Instagram last week saying he had a crazy story to tell and he wanted to tell it with us. After learning a little more, Parker Stapp from Kansas is an avid hunter, he owns his own outfitter and he absolutely loves to shed hunt. This spring he was walking a piece of ground that had not been shed hunted since 2011 and on his second time through this piece he found something he was not looking for, human remains! You really cannot make this stuff up but we appreciate Parker's time and his courage to tell this insane story. Lets go!
This week on Goose Chasing we are getting prepared for food plots! We talk some old baseball memories, Deano throwing a 3-2 curveball 98% of the time, getting back in the batters box when you swing and miss, frost seeding, spraying food plots, the importance of food plot preparation right now, new Camp Cutlet plot designs, and more!
