Goose Chasers what is up and happy Wednesday. Back with another solo episode with your boy David! I get a little vulnerable on this one so hope ya'll can hang with me. Been going through some hardships and adversity lately that have taken me off my path a little bit. But its a good thing! Adversity is a privilege and if look at it like that then we can change our life and honestly we can heavily impact the lives of those around us. Now, I am not opening this up for sympathy. Thats actually not what I want at all. But someone out there needs to hear this! And don't worry, we threw in a hunting or story or 2 in the mix. Actually I told the entire story of how I got to shoot my first deer with a bow, which came with a lot of adversity in the process. But that ultimately made that moment even more special, rewarding, and intense. Please, let me know what ya'll think of this one. Love yous!
TAGNBRAG Nation we have a pretty special episode for you this week on Goose Chasing. This is one of my longtime friends in the hunting industry, Nick Ventura. Nick has produced multiple outdoor TV shows, he's hosted a number of shows himself, and he is brilliant at capturing a story. His videography skills are some of the best in the business and he is on a new venture (no pun intended) with his show called Art of Wild on the Sportsmans Channel. Nick is a huge inspiration to Dean and I, he has played a major role in our success in this industry and I was honored to sit down with him and talk about the hunting industry, some of our fondest memories sharing camp together, our goals for the future, raising a family of hunters, and so much more. Thank you Nick for joining me and thank you to everyone who takes the time to give this a listen! It means a lot to us.
Goose Chasers what is up? Happy Wednesday and welcome back to episode 84 of Goose Chasing. We are walking back at Camp Cutlet with Deano this week! We got to walk through some of the neighboring properties where we grew up hunting when we were young and man the woods and the hills were telling old stories to us the entire time. TAGNBRAG Nation we are here to announce a brand new partnership this year with Painted Arrow. Painted Arrow provides easy to use magnetic phone and camera mounts to help YOU document and relive your own hunts. Not only do they offer amazing products but these are some of the best people we have met in the hunting industry so far! We share a lot of the same goals and values and beyond announcing our partnership we go deep in discussion on the state of the hunting industry today and how different it is since we grew up. We go through hunting trends, some stories from the past, and our thoughts on what we can do to help hunter recruitment. It was honestly one of the better conversations I have been a part of in a long time and I promise you its worth the watch! Let us know what you think in the comments below!
Goose Chasers whats going on? Happy Hump Day! Believe it or not we did not have a plan going in to this podcast and we went ALL over the map with it. We started out shed hunting, talked about Camp and the deer casualties from the harsh winter, New York being a bunch of coyotes, blue cheese on your chicken wings, not frying cutlets, and the infamous McD's Fish Filet sandwich. Wow! Hang on to your shorts. Lets go!
Goose Chasers we are back with episode 80! 80?! Are you kidding me? How did we make it this far? This week we are talking about the little lull in between deer hunting season and whatever else is next AND we are talking about a recent article that came our with 15 deer hunting sayings everyone is tired of hearing! And how they make us feel. This one is pretty funny. Lets go!
Goose Chasers its another solo mission with your boy David. Love self filming, love solo podcasting. This episode we are back in THE Original HQ in pops basement recording and talking about an important topic and consistent reminder. Don't forget where you came from! I have a little nostalgia today working in the OG office I won't lie but it is fueling me and most definitely motivating. Outside of that I am story telling Dean's first buck on film, a mishap on a buck of a lifetime, and my first buck on film as well! It's a good time in OG HQ. Lets go!
TAGNBRAG Nation and Goose Chasers we are back and this week we are diving into the a 2024 hunting season recap. It was an amazing season and we are super blessed for the opportunity to travel and hunt as much as we do. This season started off stronger then any other season we have been through but like everything in life things change and you have to get through hard times in order to do great things. We went on a little roller coaster ride during the season after our great start and experienced a lot of highs and lows along the way. We are here to talk through it all and reflect on another year with our 2024 hunting season recap. Lets go!
Goose Chasers what is up? We are doing things a little bit different today. This is a solo episode that was actually recorded a few weeks ago as I (David) sat down to speak through my thoughts and emotions of my recent late season hunt. For those that have not been following along with our vlogs on youtube (you should) I shot a buck late season here in Ohio and went on a journey that taught and humbled me beyond belief. This is me spilling my guts about that hunt, my raw feelings about it all, and where I go from here. All the while this is before I actually KNEW the outcome of the hunt (see our youtube channel for more). Appreciate you all tuning in to my BS! Means a lot. Love yous!
