Having been appointed as the Music Director of the Regina Symphony Orchestra in 2016, Maestro Gordon Gerrard has taken a uniquely innovative approach for his new position by not only re-imagining the role of the Music Director but also the role of an Orchestra as a cultural institution in the community.

I spoke to Maestro Gerrard about his journey as a musician, his push for innovative and inclusionary programming at the RSO, and what he believes could be a path forward for our beloved cultural organizations during the times of the Pandemic.
