The Truth, the whole Truth, and nothing but the Truth: Gordon Sterling and the People are here to bring it to you!

Freshly assembled in 2020, Sterling has brought together a team of incredible musicians to bring forth a fresh and exciting palette of original, dynamic soul/rock tunes: Cliff Blum (guitar), Scott Clement (bass), and David Ray (drums). 

With a brand new album of original music that ranges from summertime feel-good jams, to full tilt guitar-hero ragers, this group has something for everyone....for the People!

The first single “Truth” is a perfect kickoff to post-quarantine spring with a positive reminder of living in your truth, lead by Sterling on vocals. “Truth” made its live debut to a full house at Jammin' Java at Gordon Sterling & The People "Truth" Debut Single Release w/ Special Guests: Shamans of Sound.

 "'TRUTH'" is an unabashed celebration of self. It’s an anthem about the freedom that comes from being who one truly is and what that uniqueness brings to the world,” Sterling said. 

Sterling is a DC area-based guitarist and singer known for his psychedelic soul with a touch of blues rock. In addition to playing with his bands Nappy Riddem, The Ordinary Way and Future, he has shared the stage and toured extensively throughout the country with the likes of legends Blues Traveler, Junior Marvin (Bob Marley’s guitarist and co-songwriter), Derek Trucks Band, Bob Weir (Grateful Dead).

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Prince featured the "Upper Room with Joe Kelley and Gi Dussault" on his official website www.npgmusicclub.com. This is the first radio show to have ever received that honor. "Joe Kelley Radio" has been on the radio airwaves since 1982. Joe Kelley and Gi Dussault co-host the show and are well-respected in the music business as creative air personalities and supporters of independent musicians .
