SaskPower is bringing new wind and solar projects online, while an older wind farm is being decommissioned. The Crown power company recently connected the province’s two largest-ever wind generation facilities to the power grid, more than doubling the province’s amount of available wind generation, but at the same time the 20-year-old wind farm in Gull Lake is set to go offline. Don Morgan, minister responsible for SaskPower, joins Gormley to tell us more about renewable power in the province, SaskPower's goals, and what it means for the future.
