The Roughriders training camp was supposed to commence this past Sunday, but their most recent announcement states their first practice has been cancelled. SaskPower is bringing new wind and solar projects online, while an older wind farm is being decommissioned. The Crown power company recently connected the province’s two largest-ever wind generation facilities to the power grid, more than doubling the province’s amount of available wind generation, but at the same time the 20-year-old wind farm in Gull Lake is set to go offline.
