With hunting season in full swing, chronic wasting disease testing drop off locations are open once again for hunters to submit samples of deer, moose and elk. The province reported on Tuesday that the disease continues to increase in Saskatchewan and testing will also happen this year for bovine tuberculosis. Wildlife health specialist, Dr. Iga Stasiak, joins Taylor MacPherson to share more information about these diseases and how they are impacting Saskatchewan wildlife.

A specimen of rare bee, last seen in Saskatchewan more than 65 years ago, has been uncovered by researchers at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum. Research scientist, Dr. Cory Sheffield, who was also part of rediscovering the species in Nova Scotia, joins Taylor MacPherson to discuss the discovery.

In the wake of allegations by Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, over the death of Sikh nationalist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, tensions between Canada and India remain strained. In a recent study by investigative journalist, Ryan Thorpe, the Canadian Taxpayer Federation revealed that the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation has amassed more than half-a-billion dollars in real estate. CTF federal director, Franco Terrazzano, joins Taylor MacPherson, to delve into the public broadcaster’s real estate holdings.

Brian Lilley wrote in his Wednesday column what discussions might have taken place the night before Prime Minister Justin Trudeau offered an apology concerning the incident that led to the Speaker’s resignation. He joins Taylor MacPherson to delve into the response of the Liberal government further.
