Saskatchewan has suspended AstraZeneca vaccines for those under 55, after Canada's National Advisory Committee on Immunization updated its guidelines around the vaccine due to concerns with blood clotting reported in other countries. Derek Miller, Chief of the SHA's Emergency Operations Centre, joins Gormley for a vaccination update, including what we can expect this week and details on when more vaccination clinics will open in the province.

Former model and media personality Chrissy Teigen has quit Twitter. Teigen was a prolific tweeter and Twitter even called her their unofficial mayor. She had 13.7 million followers on the platform, but in the end, it was the abuse and ongoing harassment both on and off of Twitter that caused Teigen to close her account. Lise Merle, Creator and Host of True Crime Toad Trip, was big on social media, but felt she needed to quit Twitter about a year ago. She joins Gormley to discuss why she quit the social media platform and how she's felt since.

A new report from the Fraser Institute is exploring the costs of Ottawa's $170/tonne carbon tax, and found it would cost Canada more than 200,000 jobs. Economics professor Ross McKitrick compiled the report, and he joins Gormley to tell us more.

March is tick prevention month, and the warmer weather means we're all spending more time outdoors just as insects begin to become active. Dr. Jordan Woodsworth, of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, joins Gormley to discuss the potential risks posed by ticks, share some tips for tick prevention and how to check your pet, and some of the "horror stories" she's encountered during her work with ticks.

Many in Saskatchewan are still upset over the new firearms legislation introduced by the Trudeau government, including Gilbert White of the Recreational Firearm Community Saskatchewan (RFC). Last month, White sent a letter to Chief Rick Bourassa, president of the Saskatchewan Association of Chiefs of Police, questioning his support for the bill, and arguing it penalizes law-abiding gun owners while offering little to prevent crime. White has had no response to his letter so far, and he joins Gormley to tell us more.
