The legal challenge against the use of the Emergencies Act by civil liberties groups goes to court. There are new arguments after the Public Order Emergency Commission presented their review and found the government met the very high threshold for using the law. Cara Zwibel, Director of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association is one of the groups going to court and joins Gormley to discuss it.

For the first time in more than 50 years there will be a man mission to the moon and will have Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen aboard. The Artemis two will launch in late 2024 to make a trip around the moon before coming home. This spring Saskatoon will have about 500 rentable E-Scooters in the city to be used while Regina is following the trend later on. There is a question of safety as these scooters can get up to over 30 km/h. The biggest names in tech have recently put forward a letter calling on everyone developing AI for a six month moratorium on ChatGPT. The concern is there is no way to predict how powerful AI can be and we should slow it down. A new report is out today from SecondStreet.Org called "Governments in the Dark on Patient Suffering." It looks at the long waiting times for health services and its impact on patients. Some of the key issues for longer wait time is patients considering assisted dying, addiction to painkillers even requiring multiple surgeries. Dom Lucyk, Communications Director with SecondStreet.org joins Gormley to discuss the report and why no government tracks patient suffering as they wait for health services.
