Dana Turgeon, Historical Information and Preservation Supervisor for the city of Regina joins Gormley to discuss how the city of Regina has a virtual system showcasing 43,000 images and nearly 46,000 text-based records.

The University of Saskatchewan is starting a new clinical trial to slow the progression of the Alzheimer's disease. This trial will help develop NeuroEPO, a recombinant form of the naturally produced erythropoietin protein which prevents neuron cell death and promotes the growth and communication of neurons in the brain. Dr. Ron Geyer, Professor in the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan and co-lead of the trail joins Gormley to explain the development of NeuroEPO and the impacts that trial can have in the fight against Alzheimer's.

Wait times to see a doctor have continued to grow in Saskatchewan. On average people are waiting 51 minutes to see a doctor and the highest wait time recorder is 78 minutes in Moose Jaw. The Federal government offered $196 Billion in healthcare funding over the next 10 years, including $46.2 billion in new funding. It is not exactly what the Premiers were hoping for but is it enough to help our healthcare system.
