God created the family long before he created the church, government or any other civil construct. The family is the moral fabric upon with any civilized society is built and the Bible has a great deal to say about it. As Calvary Cross-link pauses to dedicate over a dozen families that have had new additions over the past year, we consider what Psalm 127 tells us about God’s role in building our homes.

History is replete with famous traitors. None, however, more famous than Judas Iscariot. In John 13:18-30, Jesus proves His love to the person most would consider the least deserving person: Judas. In this message, we will show how Jesus is the Lover of the Undeserving.

In the 1st century, the only ones required to wash feet were gentile servants. It was the worst, most humiliating and demeaning job in the average home. One last time, Jesus invited Israel to embrace Him as Messiah in John 12:35-50. Unfortunately, they preferred the darkness instead of light and continued with their plan to crucify Jesus. We have a similar choice today. Jesus offers us the same opportunity He offered the Jews in the 1st century: Embrace Him or Reject Him. But, as was the case with the Jews, there are consequences for our choice on this all-important question.

Pretty much everybody believes that Jesus was crucified at the hands of the Roman government at the urging of the Jewish leadership in Jerusalem. Nobody disputes that, once Jesus was crucified, he was buried. However, 2/3rds of the Gospel cannot save anybody because a dead Savior is useless. In this Easter Sunday message, we examine the question, “What if Sunday Never Came?”

The Cross is a symbol of suffering and shame but Paul said that he will boast in nothing but the cross, calling it the power of God for all who believe. The cross of Jesus Christ has had an incredible impact on billions of people throughout history and today we will take a look at how it impacted three people in John 12.

Baptism is a symbolic act that simply declares...I’m with Jesus. It is the believer’s wedding band, symbolizing their personal relationship with with their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Baptism must symbolize the Gospel, only believer should be baptized and baptism is a simple matter of obedience to Jesus Christ.

If it’s worship, it will sacrifice. If it won’t sacrifice, it’s not worship. Jesus invites anybody who desires to follow him to deny themselves, take up their cross daily and follow Him.
