Is your life filled with light, or does darkness threaten to overwhelm you? Leave your shadow and darkness at the cross and the light from him give you light within. 

In this age of outrage (see Jonathan Haidt) some find it hard to sit down with someone and have a good conversation. It doesn't need to be that way. Jesus stood in the middle of an age of outrage and welcomed sinners. He feeds us with a meal as the eternal host. 

The spiritual life is the best life possible. It is so much more. 

In tense moments, do you have something to say that will help build everyone up and help us grow? A truly spiritual life does. Speak to help us grow. 

One of the great things in life that gives us purpose is to be part of something greater. But since we're so empty, the Spirit fills us with spiritual gifts. This way we're well equipped to be part of something far greater - the body of Christ. 

Who do you honor? This makes all the difference in the world. If you honor the wrong person, it will destroy you. But honor the true king and he will give you life and everything good. Honor the true and right king!

I spend way too much time saying, "I'm not enough". And so I'm afraid to get connected to other people and I even fear we're disconnected. Jesus Christ became vulnerable to connect himself to us and reconnect us to one another. 

Where do you look for God when he seems missing? What could it do for you if you could find him? To find him, mind the gap.
