The futile reasonings of man-centered religion still reject the significance of Christ crucified. We show from Romans that the hostility to the truth by those deceived by the lie has never changed. If we do not turn to Christ and believe the truth, we are still in the clutches of the lie and face God’s wrath against sin.

Those who are redeemed and gathered in His name are the temple of God. God dwells in buildings not made with hands (a phrase oft repeated in Acts). To destroy the valid fellowship of believers is to come under the danger of God’s judgment.
