  • The inseparable love of Christ
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (Romans 8:35) *1/ The love of Christ set before us in the Gospel. 2/ The love of Christ felt and evidenced. 3/ The inseparable love of Christ - the comfort of God's people.* **Sermon summary:** The sermon explores the unbreakable bond between God and His people, anchored in the text of Romans 8:35-39. It argues that the love of Christ is not merely an abstract concept but a sovereign, sacrificial reality demonstrated through the atonement and the new birth. The preacher emphasizes that this divine love is evidenced in the believer's life through a genuine affection for God's Word, the people of God, and obedience to His commandments. Despite the presence of tribulation, distress, and persecution, the central message is one of profound assurance: no external force or internal failure can sever the believer from the love of God. This inseparable love serves as the ultimate comfort, guaranteeing the believer's eternal security and glorification.

  • Remember Me
The sermon examines the contrasting responses of the two criminals crucified alongside Jesus, highlighting the transition from mockery to genuine faith. It emphasizes that all humanity begins in a state of rebellion against God, characterized by ignorance and disregard for divine authority, but the Gospel offers a path to redemption through repentance and trust in Christ. The text underscores the sufficiency of Jesus' atoning work, which satisfies God's justice while extending mercy to even the most hardened sinners. Believers are urged to seek assurance of salvation now rather than delaying until a crisis, as the peace and confidence found in Christ provide immediate comfort and eternal hope. The central message is that no one is beyond the reach of God's grace, and the certainty of paradise is available to all who turn to Jesus in faith.

  • Preaching life
Paul's first full recorded sermon is a sustained gospel plea, preached in Antioch near Pisidia. He surveys Israel's favoured past, brings them to their happy day, and presents them with a pressing choice. In it all, he is pointing the Jews and the God-fearers in the Antiochian synagogue to Christ as the Son of David and the fulfilment of God's promises, and the Saviour of all who trust in him.

  • THE KEEPERS OF THE THRESHOLD!
THE KEEPERS OF THE THRESHOLD! 2 Chronicles 34:8–15 (KJV) During the reign of King Josiah, the neglected temple in Jerusalem was being repaired. Among those serving in the restoration were Levites described as keepers of the doors. These faithful servants helped receive contributions brought for the repair of God's house. Their responsibilities remind us of three powerful spiritual truths. First, the keepers of the threshold had a sacred position. Their service demonstrates that even humble responsibilities are important when performed faithfully for Almighty God. The Lord values obedience more than public recognition. Second, the keepers of the threshold had a serious responsibility. Their trusted service reminds believers of the importance of faithfulness, integrity, and guarding the spiritual truths God has entrusted to His people. Christians must guard their hearts while remaining faithful to the Scriptures. Third, the keepers of the threshold were serving when God's Word was rediscovered. During the restoration of the temple, Hilkiah found the Book of the Law. When King Josiah heard God's Word, he humbled himself and led the nation toward renewed obedience. This powerful account reminds the church that genuine spiritual renewal begins with returning to the authority of God's Word.Above all, the message points to Jesus Christ, who declared in John 10:9, "I am the door."The church must faithfully guard biblical truth while keeping the Gospel invitation open to every sinner who needs salvation. You do not have to stand in the spotlight to be faithful to the Savior.
