Shinaaz –The Light of God shining through me to all people I come into contact with...

Erika – Mother to the nations through intercession and prophetic inspiration and however the Lord will use me, surrendered and yielded vessel of God.

Mom Devi – The woman who believed God.

Angelina - The daughter who preserved the Christian nation through empowerment, inspiration and getting rid of evil practices from Christian environments.

1. Mere infants – we need to grow up-Spiritual Growth importance

3 Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly—mere infants in Christ. 2 I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. 3 You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans? 4 For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere human beings?

5 What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. 6 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. 7 So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 8 The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. 9 For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. 10 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. During a technical interlude before the start of the service, Rob caught up with Dr Somerville and got the low down on how God had tested him during his ministry which has taken him to many areas of Scotland and to the world.

The evening is introduced by Robert Todd who also prayed for those in War torn areas including Ukraine, Israel and Palestine.

Dr Somerville's message was about signs off the times and the urgency of the Gospel.

The Case for Christ!

Lee Strobel author of “Case for Christ” is an investigative journalist with a legal editing background. Lee’s sole purpose for investigating Christ’s existence was motivated to prove to his born-again wife that her belief is false. Lee becomes overwhelmed by his wife’s born again transformative lifestyle, her conversion and new way of life as a Christian concerned him, even though her personality etc was much better, his generalisation was his wife will soon have an appearance, dressing and lifestyle that is boring as associated to Christians, and this might cause him to lose attraction for her and they will no longer have a fun filled life. As an atheist, Lee notices changes in his wife’s conduct and nature and it concerned him, how can God who does not exist transform his wife. In a quest to find out the real source of his wife’s transformation He uses his investigative experience to track down the evidence for Christ. Lee interviews the best Scholars to confirm evidence of the existence of Christ. Using his legal affairs journalistic experience investigates circumstantial evidence, archaeological evidence, scientific evidence, rebuttal evidence to name a few investigative methods Lees applied to verify the case for Christ, he used evidence that one would apply in courtrooms. Leslie(wife) Stroebel’s post conversion transformed life described by Lee:

I had married the one Leslie, the carefree Leslie, the risk taking Leslie - and now I feared she was going to turn into some sort of sexually repressed prude who would trade our upwardly mobile lifestyle for all-night prayer vigils and volunteer in grimy soup kitchens...Instead I was pleasantly surprised, even fascinated – by the fundamental changes in her character, her integrity, and her personal confidence (Stroebel L 16).

Myles Munroe in his book the “spirit of leadership” attributes leadership to the following statements:

Leadership is not a label you give yourself. Leadership is a privilege given by the followers

Leaders inspire by expressing their inner passion, which resonates with others and causes

them to join in pursuing the leaders vision

The source of inspiration in a leader is “passion”

True leadership passion is discovery of belief, reason, idea, conviction, a cause not to just

live for, but to die for, which focuses on benefiting mankind as a whole

Passion comes from purpose

Leaders are often ordinary people who accept or are placed under extraordinary
