On this Christmas day we must ask ourselves, “Is Christ your born Saviour ?” From a discussion of Matthew 1:21, we shall learn that Christ originated from God. He is called Emmanuel, “God with us”. His generation began from eternity past in God and his birth was declared in scriptures by God, prophets and angles. His birth, life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension was prophesied. Christ began the earthly process at dying a substitution death on behalf of those his father gave to him to die for. Christ's birth to ascension was his part in implementing God’s eternal redemptive covenant of grace. As the elect listen to the gospel they can be born of the Spirit just as Christ was born by the miracle work of the Holy Spirit. If you believe in Christ, then his birth is a blessing. But if you believe not, you are under his judgement with or without the possibility of getting saved before your death. Amen

The answer has always been "Believe on the lord Jesus Christ" It will further be revealed that God the Holy spirit works in us to give us a new spiritual life to believe in Jesus Christ as part of His eternal redemptive program to save a people for Himself.
