We know most people loves animals and we are always willing to touch them.

For example, when you go to a zoo, do you ever think about how it would be to pet the animals or get closer to them? I mean, to be right next to them without them being in a cage or even learning more about animals that you don’t normally interact with.

For instance, when you were little, did you ever dream of becoming a vet, working with animals or even fighting for animals rights?

Well, today we have a really cool guest AMANDA WINTER the owner of ONCE IN A WILD. She will explain how this is possible and how amazing it is to work with animals.

We suggest that children are always supervised by adults who can guide kids to be respectful of animals.

Like you know our times are changing, we are entering a 1000% digital era.

Many things will never be like before, but let's see it as an opportunity. For example to learn new things, spend more time with your family, let's learn to value the work of other people such as teachers.

I think that now all moms have noticed the effort, patience and good work of the teachers.

What about if we can find new methods to teach our kids. A better and more fun way to teach them math, reading, spanish and why not SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING.

Today Lilly Alaniz will share an important information with all of us.

Let me tell you a little bit about her:

She studied in Arizona State University a Master of Social Work.

She have 18 years working voluntarily or professionally in mental health clinics, non-profit organizations, school districts and within contracts serving schools with low socioeconomic populations.

She have 20 years of experience working to establish strong relationships between parents, their children and the community.

She also have an advanced training in clinical psychotherapy.

And currently  , Mrs. Lilly is waiting to receive approval to test for clinical licensure  in the state of Texas.

Today I would like to introduce KATIA GARCIA she is the owner and creator of TERRA LOVE. She is an exceptional woman; she is a mom, a wife and a Mexican entrepreneur.

She is from Mazatlán, Sinaloa in MEXICO. She has been here for a few years. She studied cosmetic in different parts of Mexico like Leon Guanajuato, Guadalajara Jalisco and Mazatlán Sinaloa.

She mentioned phytocosmetic and biocosmetic as the basis for her products.

Let me explain you a little bit about this concepts:

Phytocosmetics:

These are cosmetics made from plant substances, this is to say, derived from plant active principles obtained from different parts of plants, such as stems, leaves, fruits, flowers and bulbs. All of these are selected, purified and treated through delicate manufacturing processes. Aromatherapy is an allied(alaid) and also very important for this type of activity.

Biocosmetics:

This is ecological cosmetics, respecting the environment. It refers to those cosmetic products containing 99% of their ingredients coming from plants and which also come from ecological and biological cultures.

Another thing I learned from her; is that she and her family make their own compost for a small garden at home. They also have the culture of recycling.

I find it quite interesting and something incredible that we can foster in our families and teach our children.

SO Katia and I want to invite all of you to be more aware of the environment and to take care of our planet.

Like we know, San Antonio have a big hispanic community.

Well I want to tell you about my wonderful experience.

The other day I went to one of our local restaurants.

I went to CAFE VIDA on Blanco and Huebner, probably some of you heard about this restaurant or about the other location in Rogers Ranch inside Gold’s Gym.

I had the pleasure to met the owners Dora Cervantes y Julieta Gutierrez, let me tell you that they are a very nice people; they have a big heart, passion of what they doing and the most important they offer to all the guest a great experience not just a healthy and delicious food. They really pampered and take care of them guests. Is not that awesome?!

They made me feel like home and so welcome!!! I really appreciated. THANK YOU GIRLS!!!

I had the opportunity to interview them and know a little more about them as a person and as a business owners.
