This week, Briony and Molly sit down with author, serial entrepreneur, and all-round powerhouse Lisa Messenger.
We started off with Lisa's jaw-dropping journey to motherhood. We’re talking 20 rounds of IVF, a miscarriage, failed adoption, donor eggs from Ukraine during a war, and a friend who offered to carry her baby.
We also heard how Lisa turned the catastrophic Northern Rivers floods into a grassroots relief operation from a community hall at 10pm, and why she then went and did a Harvard course so she'd be ready for next time.
Briony learned that Lisa's three-year-old is running his own chicken empire with 29 chooks and a savings goal, which is frankly better money management than most adults.
We got into the death of hustle culture, how Lisa went from 36 staff to zero, and the one question she asks anyone who says they want to write a book or start a podcast.
