I miss rap city from the 90s on Much Music in Canada and MTV from the US. I’m pretty sure Naughty By Nature and Kish were most responsible for my fascination with MC rhyming. Todays episode is all throwing back to that era. Also look out for an early track from future Cake Mob General Dave-E, and a classic freestyle session between Run DMC and A Tribe Called Quest on Tim Westwood’s radio show.
