In one sentence -- make people feel as though they matter, not just when you need them to matter.

We can retire from a job, but never from our work. A job pays the bills. Work fulfills the purpose God gave us. Only He can retire us from that. As long as we have breath, we have work to do.

God never calls anyone or anyone he calls to make it a point to be liked. In fact, the opposite will be true. As long as you stand for right, do not expect to be liked. You won't be by most. It is one of the costs of true leadership.

Don't let small people sweat you!

Jesus teaches his disciples and us a valuable lesson on jealousy. A brilliant twist. An excellent teaching moment for us all.

"For he who is not against you, is for you," Jesus. Wow.

Where you are is not mere happenstance. You have been positioned by God for a far greater purpose.

What every leader can learn from Daniel. Not about lions, but those in your orbit who seek your destruction and demise. Before you face the lions --- spend facetime with God.
