When we hear the word prodigal we often think of someone who has left or strayed from the faith. What if I told you that even those within the church are often prodigals? Dagon, an Ashades idol, would be found prostrate, with his face at the ground in front of the Ark of the Lord. The last time it happened, Dagon was found dismembered.

Similarly, every idol in our lives will be knocked down. When the presence of God is truly within us, every idol must surrender. But to do this we cannot start seeking His presence one day and end this the next. We are called to persistently come into the presence of God.

Who is sitting on the throne?
