Controlling much? Trying to control others and even ourselves can sometimes land us in hot water, and hot water can hurt. In this episode we dive into what is self control and why it is a key aspect in our lives.  When do we let go, hold on, or both?  There are no easy answers or hard and fast rules, but one thing is certain.  To understand our assignment we must look to the Master Teacher for guidance with full knowledge that when we are not in control, He is.

Avoidance means the action of keeping away from or not doing something.  It manifest in  behavior that keeps us away from experiencing new things in life that can benefit us in the end.  And sometimes the behavior is just a symptom of a different root cause.  Fear of disappointment, getting hurt, or confusion.  Reading the Bible and learning of God can be intimidating.  Fear of not understanding, fear of becoming one of "those", or uncovering the unknown can cause us to hide and not seek.  In this episode we dive into walking into discovery with an open heart, an open mind, and a willingness to know what you don't know.  Join me as we dive into that ability to be a little more curious.
