My baby girl just celebrated her 10th Birthday and I took the time to reflect on how she has and continues to teach me about being a mother.

What's on the agenda for today, and made the plans? I've realized that my agenda is not always what God has plan, and when it doesn't work out, I get upset. So, today I'm talking about letting Him change the agenda.

I have allowed the fear of failure to stunt my growth for too long, and it's time to prune away the weeds that have held me back. Even if those weeds are from me! I can admit, I have been my own hindrance because I've allowed the false narratives in my head to convince me I wasn't qualified, good enough, or capable. But no more!

I've shared before about knowing I'm Martha, and it's been a struggle trying to find the balance in also being like Mary. God has been revealing somethings about me to me that I didn't realize, and now, I'm trying to get it together!

Although we're not suppose to judge, we do it anyway. I'm guilty of it myself. It's not until it hits home, that we speak out against it. So, I guess I've been hit, in a sense, and I'm sharing my thoughts.

There's nothing wrong with admiring others or looking to them as inspirations, but I don't want admiration to turn into the standards I live by. I too am goals and should be my own goals! I may not be perfect, but I'm perfectly imperfect me!

In life, the only thing that is constant is change, and much has change over the past few months. So, today I share how I've been learning to adjust and be flexible.

He said to write the vision and make it plain, but apparently He need to make some revisions. So, now my journey has taken a detour, but I still headed toward my destination.
