God’s grace is all you need. Nothing else. You don’t have to do a single thing to earn it or maintain it. God didn’t look at you and how well behaved you were before you were saved and determine that He would send Jesus because you earned it. He saw you and I in all of our wickedness, inside and out, and He wanted to send Jesus to save us in spite of all that. As Pastor Gary will remind us in today’s message, Jesus has done everything necessary to reconcile us to God.
