After worship, Alex Parker shares about how the Lord has been generous and tender to her and her family over the last 10 days of grief they endured.

Pastor John Thrift then goes on to describe the three kinds of people that can be found in today's church:

- the unbeliever (1 Cor 2:14), 

- the believers that are able to overcome their sinful desires and suffer with Him (Romans 8:12-17),

- and the worldly believers that don't allow their old self to be crucified (Romans 6:6-7, 1 Cor 3:1-3) and they let sin control / influence themselves.

With the love, grace, and mercy of the Lord, may we rightly identify which one we currently are.

Pastor Richard Oti tells us both God and the enemy use our memories when talking to us. Pastor Richard then reminds us that we need to actively remember the things that build us up in the Lord.

Pastor John Blomberg leads today's service. Starting in Psalm 40, he instructs us in God's instructions. It's our obedience to this that determines how, or even if, the Lord will bless us. Disobedience is sin and we are called to stop sinning.

We spend today praying for everyone today. For their healing, their health, and God's favor for this year.

Pastor John speaks today about a gift from the Lord.  Among the many riches He has given us through His sacrifice, He has also given us His divine nature

Pastor John reminds us that God has always had a plan. His opinion and plan has never changed and He continues to follow it to this very day.

Working off the cuff and with the help of the Grace children, Pastor John recreates the first Christmas and the birth of Jesus.

Today starts with the dedication of baby Judah Oti, Hannah and Richard Oti's son.

Pastor John then warns us that simply believing in Jesus is not enough. Our faith must govern our lives. Instead, starting with Colossians, Pastor John talks about how to be led by and walk in Him.

Going to Numbers 22 and Balaam, Pastor John demonstrates how the Lord knows what is best for us. And while He allows us to decide, even poorly, He is always trying to direct us to His best. So we need to learn to be loyal to the One voice.

Missionaries to the Philippines Moon and Lindsay Choi share how they both "knew" the life plans the Lord set aside for them. That is until the Lord shook both of them up individually and through a bevy of closed doors and personal disappointment called them to the missionary field.

They ask for support in their efforts asking us to:

Pray for their daughter and family and a testimony of healing;

Pray for the family's safety and favor as they travel;

Pray for financial provision.
