This week is part 6 of Pastor John's in-depth study from the Gospel of John.

During this portion of our journey through John, Pastor John used the cleaning of the temple to encourage us to put our trust and zeal in God as He cleanses the temples of our hearts.

Continuing his study of the Gospel of John, Pastor John looks at the miracles of Christ. By doing so, Pastor John points out two things: 1) Always look to Jesus, and 2) trust Jesus, He is looking to do something new in all of our lives.

Pastor John returns to his study of the Gospel of John. Like He did with the early disciples, Christ still asks the people of our time "What are you seeking?" Since Jesus knows us, think deeply and challenge yourself for the Lord asks us to answer this question honestly, "What are you really seeking?"

Pastor Hannah asks the question if we are we hungry and she means that "hangry" kind of hunger! To feed our spiritual hunger we have to be connected to God, after all, "Jesus is the Bread awaiting hunger (St. Augustine)." Pastor Hannah then goes on to explain that in order to be filled by the Lord,we must use spiritual disciplines to put ourselves in positions where we will receive from Him.

God has not obligation to speak or commune with us. It is strictly on His terms. But when He does draw near we need to respond. Pastor John encourages us to seek Him with high expectations and to actively press in when He blesses us with His presence.
