Going to the Word and John 15:16, Pastor John looks to establish an eternal principle with us. Something we all need regardless of how long we have served the Lord. This principle must abide in our spirit and we must embrace it. We did not choose Him; Jesus chose us.

Today we started by recognizing and celebrating the people returning from the Aruba missions trip.

Then with the help of the Lord, Pastor John looks to reinforce and boost our perspective. Starting in Job 38, he demonstrates the power of our Lord, Savior, and friend. Pastor John then goes into Psalms and John to show His commitment, promises and heart towards us.

So why can't we trust Him?

Gary Slate opens today with a prophetic word on where he believes the Lord is taking Grace. We wait impatiently and with expectation.

Jean-Pierre Koudifo asks an unexpected question today - are you saved? He asks this of us, believers. Why? Even the Word tells believers to do so, like Paul does in 2 Corinthians 13:5.

Jean-Pierre then looks at four New Testament examples which demonstrate this great need. In them we can see great acts of Christianity, but they were empty. That is until God, out of His mercy, opened their eyes that they were not really in the faith.

Pastor John reminds us today of Jesus’s words to yoke up with Him. It requires our trust in Him and results in His rest in us.

Happy Father's Day!

Pastor John starts today by reminding us that we are the testimony to His resurrection.

He then goes to Hebrew 3 and discusses how our faith in the Lord and our rest in Him are inseparable. So today soften our hearts, trust Him, and enter into His rest. It's for you.

Picking up and expanding on something he mentioned last week, Pastor Les Lawrence starts with Isaiah 60. He points out that we are little “mobile arks of the covenant.” God's ʿărāp̄el (עֲרָפֶל) surrounds and fills us. Pastor Les stresses we don't reflect His light. Instead we carry it and it radiates out of us and is intended to be displayed in the darkness.

Today's service deviates from typical activities and turns to an extended time of worship. During this time, Pastor John encourages everyone to look beyond the cross and salvation.  Instead, as believers we need to look beyond the cross and be Christ's witness to the resurrection.

Pastor John teaches from Mark 10:46-52. Looking to Blind Bartimaeus, Pastor asks the question of how does our faith work when our life is upside down? By faith, quit what is not working and take steps - continuous steps - in faith. Throw off your cloak and don't give up.

Today Pastor Lance Morris leads a simple but essential discussion. Before we can live the life Christ intended for us to live, we need to get a better understanding now of who we are “in Him.” In Him we have everything; without Him we can’t do anything.

Today Brooke Allen is our guest speaker. Going to Samuel and Romans, Brooke teaches from the life of Hannah of Ephraim. Brooke reminds us it's one thing to lack and want but know He will give us everything we need for life. Sometimes the solution is not in the way we want or think it should look like. Brooke then goes on to share her recent personal experiences where her perspective was adjusted, her needs were met, and God was glorified.
