Grace Baptist Church

God gives a greater Grace in Christ! Romans 5 teaches the contrast between Adam's sin and Christ's action of grace. . . and grace is so much greater!

Why do I face difficult times? The Lord answers one reason in Romans 5. We face tribulation to make us stronger and more like Christ. Here is the Prezi for the sermon: https://prezi.com/view/334pPvP58cpgKfuOa44o/

Hope in God because... He is our God of all Comfort. And that comfort comes from His compassion for us. He is a God of mercy.

In Hope Against Hope. At times we must believe in God in spite of current circumstances that say otherwise. That is faith. This was the faith of Abraham and must be ours as well. Consider Abraham believing - in hope, against hope. Here is the Prezi for the sermon: https://prezi.com/view/2kwjaEFBfLTkLbKfetv6/

What fills you so much that it bubbles out naturally? Let's be honest on that one. What is the most natural words from your mouth, attitude of heart and expression in action? In this message we find what is the organic expression of thanks. Praise God for His Gospel!

Why is there law? What does God's promise given to Abraham have to do with us? Let's look into the book of Romans and let this book unfold. Here is the Prezi for the sermon: https://prezi.com/view/AAb3OXEx5RYjbWUcjxan/

What is our primary responsibility to our government? What is its primary responsibility to us?

Let's build up one another! Consider the Lord's foundational instructions from Ephesians 4:8-14.

A triple braided cord is not easily broken… Solomon is encouraging us to be stronger together. So how can we benefit one another in God's church? How does He build us together? In what way are we "members one of another?" We'll consider that together this Sunday as we praise the Lord for the glory of what He has done in building His church over the ages (see text below).

Romans is an amazing book. As the Gospel is unveiled it is almost "unbelievable"... and so we need to look to the whole Bible and its witnesses to share the Gospel's reliability. This week we listen to David's witness and He shares the great joy we have as a result of salvation that we do not earn by our works but God provides in His Son.
