It is the all pervasive need for each of us and for our church to be victorious. It is the practice of prayer.

Be strong in the Lord. Our strength as children of God comes from Him, and yet He asks us to put on His Gospel armor in order to stand in the evil day. Let's consider Ephesians 6:10-17 to know what God's armor is in our spiritual armory for victory in spiritual warfare.

How beautiful are their feet? Well, they may not look great on the outside. But the person who first told you the Gospel story has beautiful feet in God's book. "And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: 'How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news'" (Romans 10:15)! I wonder who first proclaimed Christ to you? Praise the Lord they shared. How beautiful are your feet? Have you proclaimed Christ to those who don't yet believe? What about this question, have you proclaimed Christ and those who do believe? Both of those are central to a Bible-driven person. God's Word will challenge us forward to this end tomorrow as we consider how to encourage each other to proclaim Christ as individuals and as a church.

So many opportunities to focus on as a church. What should be our priority? In this series we gain an understanding on what God wants in churches as we endeavor to be Bible-Driven. This week our first priority. Our church exists to glorify God.

So many very good things to do and be in life! We must use focus to concentrate on those things that are most important. The same is true for a church. As we approach our 14th church birthday at Grace, we will do just that, we'll look into God's Word to see exactly what the Lord wants us to focus on as a church body. In the mornings, we'll look together at our church book: "8 Principles of a Bible-Driven Church" and then in the service we'll focus our attention on a portion of God's Word that teaches that. This Sunday, we'll focus on God's glory as the chief end of man. He is the only lasting, and eternal Royal.

We often highlight the sensational things God does as He heals our body or provides for a physical need. But often the greatest supernatural works are the things that He does in our hearts to change us. We'll find a few examples of this supernatural work in the lives of several different people in 2 Kings 5 this Sunday. One of the most striking is how God gave a little girl healing victory through forgiveness. God's forgiveness will be the theme for this Sunday's service.

Our Lord is worthy of all of our praise and especially of our songs of worship. This Sunday we'll enjoy the final sermon in the summer's sermons through the Psalms series. We will enjoy singing Psalms together as a church, and learn a new song written by one of our church members.
