in this lesson we see that Boaz was willing to redeem ALL of Elimelech's and that of his sons, and to purchase Ruth to be his WIFE. Christ redeemed ALL that would by faith in his shed blood -believe- and purchased His Church to be His wife.

Boaz in speaking to the nearer kinsman let's him know that he told the household of Naomi he would make it known to him the nearer kinsman, and that he would do it in front of witnesses and before the judges. He told the kinsman that if he would redeem it, then redeem it- for he had first right and then it was him. The law only gave the right to redeem, it could not redeem.

in this exposition Boaz goes up to the gate and sits down. What is the importance of his going to the gate and sitting down, and why did he go there- His mission was to intercede for Ruth. Do you have one who has and is interceding for you-

Though the captives were a long ways away from Jerusalem, and even though they thought that Jerusalem, the Temple was the only place that God was, God tells Ezekiel that He will be there , in whatever country he has sent them.

In exhorting us to walk worthy, after telling us to put away lying, and be angry but without sin, and not to steal anymore- we are now told something which may seem impossible, when we are told to -let no corrupt communication proceed out of our mouth.-

After that God proclaimed to Ezekiel the ridicule that his brethren received- He then gives words of encouragement. But before looking at those encouraging words, tonight we look at who Ezekiel's brethren are and who the House of Israel wholly are.

We have been examining our walk, we are to -Walk worthy of the calling wherewith we have been called.- In this walk we see that we are to -steal no more- but -labor, working with our hands the thing which is good,- that we may have to give to the poor.

In this message we examine the -hid treasure- and see what the treasure is- and then upon examining the next parable of the -pearl of great price- we see what that pearl is.

After that Ezekiel fell down and cried to the Lord asking him if he would make a full end of the remnant- we now see God's reply. God first replies that the remaining inhabitants of Jerusalem and Judea ridicule and scorn those in exile.
