The same day in which the Pharisees accused Jesus of casting out devils by Satan the prince of the devils, Jesus begins to speak to the multitudes in Parables. This puzzled his disciples and they asked him about it. Today we cover in this message Jesus response.

Boaz made a promise to Ruth, one which he kept. The Lord Jesus Christ made promises to those that are His, which involved His satisfying the demands of The Law.

Boaz recognized that Ruth was -Blessed of the Lord-, how did he know that- It was by her manner of life- do others recognize that we are -Blessed of the Lord--

as we look at these verse we make note of the fact that Boaz knew exactly what was signified by a women laying at his feet, and that his concern was who was proposing marriage. Also we note that Ruth was not ashamed to -proclaim-- her near kinsman -Redeemer-. It the Lord has redeemed you -say so.-

We continue our thoughts on the point -The Boldness of the Wicked Condemned.- Last week we considered that Ezekiel was told to prophesy to the wicked leaders that God knows their evil purposes. This week we see the -consequences of their evil purposes.-

God told Joshua to be -obedient-, then he would be prosperous and successful. Ruth in order to be successful and find a good husband and home, she must be obedient to Naomi, and being obedient to Naomi she was also obedient to God.

Pastor Bourn in expounding this passage shows how that Ruth honored her mother-in-law Naomi, and by honoring her she honored God.

As we continue this study of walking worthy of the calling wherewith we have been called, and not as the unsaved- seeing we have put on the new man which is created after God in righteousness and true holiness- we are told to -Be angry, and sin not.-

Jesus pointing to the twelve and other of his disciples, said these are my brother, and sister, and mother.

Pastor Bourn in expounding this passage directs our attention to Boaz a type of Jesus Christ our -Kinsman Redeemer- and His church's Bridegroom. His task was completed -He Is Satisfied.-
