Jesus in teaching His disciples how to pray, taught them that we must only pray for food and clothing for today.

Each individual -local church- which is His body, is to be in unity, that is as -one-, just as there is -One God and Father of all, who is above all.-

In this supplication Jesus was teaching His disciples then, and His disciples today, to pray for the success of the Gospel, thus enlarging His Kingdom. Also in -Thy Will be Done- we would thus be praying for our obedience to His Will as well as for others to be obedient to His Will.

As followers of Jesus Christ, we are to be a -good soldier- of His. What does that mean-

-One God and Father of All-- in our text he is not the Father of all mankind, but the Father of all the saved and particularly in His Body.

Paul was to -preach- to the Gentiles -the unsearchable riches of Christ.-

Paul told the Ephesian Church he was less than the least- therefore, he was in need of -grace- and -grace- was given.

The apostle Paul said he was made a minister of this mystery.
