Last week Pastor Pierre discussed the first horseman - a harbinger of false peace and willful deception of the people left on earth after the rapture. This man, riding a white horse and carrying only a bow - without arrows, fills a desperate need for peace, after a vast number of the population suddenly disappears from the planet and leave behind incredible chaos in the void. But as we'll learn today, that the peace is brief, and soon gives way to broken promises and horrible destruction.

It's from this chapter that we learn of 4, very famous figures - men, you may have heard of, but might not know, have their origins in the Bible. They are the 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Today we're reminded that our praise includes our prayer - prayer that can seem like pointless words spoken - but not heard. And yet, we know God hears them and answers. And we'll conclude proclaiming the name of our great Redeemer and Savior Jesus Christ.

There's almost endless chatter about worship in the church community. It must be quite confusing to unbelievers to hear us preach the importance of the Savior and then spend so much talking about the style of music we like or dislike in our services. Modern, contemporary, traditional, blended - you name the genre, someone's either passionately arguing it's the key to reaching the lost or dogmatically denouncing it as a sign of the end times.

The Redemption of Creation by the Lamb that is worthy, is also the reclaiming of Creation by its rightful Ruler - the Great Lion of Judah. We'll learn this might king, our great Lord and Savior, as well as how He can be both the root and the offspring of David, in part 2 of today's message.

In chapter 5 of Revelation, we see just how connected Revelation, the last book in the bible, is with Genesis, the first. The world and all of God's amazing creation, everything that man ceded to Satan at the fall, is about to be reclaimed by Jesus Christ - the lamb who is worthy.
