The kind of satisfaction that Jesus promises to those who relentlessly pursue righteousness, is soul satisfying 100- satisfaction.

We experience God's blessing when we mourn in a way that leads us to the repentance of our sin.

What do you value-- Is it results, performance, personality, or character-- The beatitudes tells us what God's values, and it defines for us what character God is, in our words, proud of.

-Conflict, warfare in this world is what comes naturally, it's what sinners do. We fight, we argue, and we kill-. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus calls his followers to more. He calls them to be people of Peace.

The righteousness that Jesus talks about is an inward standard of righteousness not an external ritualistic adherence to man made rules and rituals.
