For years I struggled with that label. My hair. Weight.
Who you see me to be becomes who I see me to be. So, when I look in the mirror, I see
your words.
To get rid of the past labels, we strive for a new identity: career, accomplishments,
fitness, marriage, politics, style.
But then as life goes on, we find ourselves limited by and chained to our past: sins, poor
choices, disabilities.
Eventually, when we look in the mirror, we’re not sure who we are.
