What John saw, heard, and touched - this he proclaims to us, that we too could be in joyful fellowship with the Father and the Christians He is drawing to Jesus.

As we finish one year, and begin another, we reflect on how Jesus began his life in the week after Christmas.

One dark night, Christ the savior was born.  On another dark night, John the Baptist wrestled in prison with fears and doubts.  

Christ came to deliver true, living hope to a hopelessly sinful world.

As we reach the end of the church year, we give consideration to the end of the age.

What does God want from you?  The goalposts never move, there's no new commands - he has shown you, O man, what is good, and what the LORD requires of you.

Jesus doesn't always do stuff the way we want, because his goals aren't always the same as ours.  One of his goals is real faith nurtured in you.
