Good morning...

This mornings Sunday service is the challenge for us, as parents, leaders, & the people of God to grow from 'milk' to 'solid food' --- may we heed this charge this morning for the glory of God.

Interspersed among the images of Jesus' Better-ness we have these challenges, exhortations, instructions & warnings.

One such example is to be on guard against the perils of a hardened heart. What causes the heart to harden? How can it be dealt with? What softens such hardness to the things of God?

Prayerfully there might be a small encouragement for you as you listen to the Word from Hebrews 3 and, prayerfully, find some encouragement in the Lord.

Continuing with our journey through Hebrews, we look at several ways Jesus expresses His 'Better-ness' than the traditions, rituals, & activities the Old Covenant presented.

In the revelation of such truth, I pray we might be challenged to embrace the beauty of Jesus who is far superior to what this world offers.

Today we take a break from the book of Hebrews but still get to participate of Jesus' greatness by looking at the Throne of God as shown to us in Revelation 4.

We have the privilege of knowing Jesus as our High Priest because as our High Priest He has done all the work that enables us to partake of that rest He provides.

After a blessed Easter away with the church family, we continue our journey through the book of Hebrews, looking at the 'Better-ness' of Jesus as our Perfect Rest.

After being challenged by Brad last week to "take Jesus' teaching seriously" we go back to the book of Hebrews and look at WHY we have too.

Jesus is already better than the prophets; we read how Jesus is better than the angels. Today we examine how Jesus is better than Moses.

Moses, a faithful servant, the leader of Israel from slavery, the receiver of the Law of God. And as great as this man was, Jesus is far BETTER in every way.
