This week we are in Part 19 of our study in the book of Romans. Steve will discuss that law and how God gave the law to Moses. He will also speak about how Jesus came to fulfill the law which God gave to Moses. Why is this topic important? This topic is important because we always default to the law...we always want to work for the right to be accepted by God...however, Jesus already took care of everything we need to get to heaven...all we have to do is believe in Him and have faith in Him!

Life brings all kinds of challenges for each one of us. Hurts and pains are part of living life. Knowing this information is vital in how one deals with adversity. This week Steve walks us through how to deal with hurts according to the Bible. This life we live is temporary and we have the hope of an eternity where there will be no more sorrow and no more pain.

This week Steve is in Part 15 in our study of the book of Romans. He looks into Chapter 8 where Paul tells us we are either controlled by the human nature or by the spirit of God. Up until the time we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are controlled by human nature. After we accept Christ, He helps us to CHANGE and be controlled by the spirit that now lives in us. This week we are in Part 13 of our series in the Book of Romans. The text this week shows us that even the great Apostle Paul struggled with doing what he knew was the right thing to do. We all have this same struggle today. We know the good we want to do and usually fall short. But wait, there is hope! Steve discusses ways we can overcome the pitfalls of our sinful nature.

Once we have been given God's grace, how should we live? Should we continue to live sinful lives? Should we ever sin again? Are we supposed to live a perfect life just like Jesus? This week Steve talks about how we are to live after we have accepted the grace of God by accepting his son Jesus! You won't want to miss this message as we learn how God's grace is supposed to work in our lives until we finally meet him face to face.

Part 10 of our series in the Book of Romans takes us to Romans 6:14. Steve talks about the law and how the law will always win against us. Jesus did not come to do away with the law, but to fulfill the law. He did that by being the only person in history not to sin and fall prey to the law. The victory Jesus won by defeating the law now allows us to be victorious through Him and not on our own merit. Join us this weekend to hear more about this wonderful news.

Part 9 of our series in the Book of Romans takes us to the first part of Chapter 6. Steve discusses how we are to become overcomers of our sinful nature since we have been made new by our commitment to Jesus Christ. We know that God's grace covers a multitude of sins, but we certainly do not want to take advantage of that grace by not examining ourselves and changing our lifestyle to become more like Jesus.
