The Rev. Tim Baer concludes our series on the Prophets by examining God's judgement of humanity that the prophets constantly talk about. Is it all doom and gloom or is there a light at the end of the tunnel? 

The Rev. Tim Baer takes a look at what the prophets of the old testament might have to say about today's church at large. How has the modern church been a stumbling block for people's journey of faith? And how can the local church be a part of the solution that will help reconnect and heal those wounds?

Continuing our series, The Prophets & the Divine Bullhorn, Fr. Tim invites us to examine if our faith in Christ convict us to live differently? Further investigating the Prophets of the Old Testament, he delievers the message that we should live a life of conviction over conformity.

In this age of divisivness, it is easy to get discouraged. Fr. Tim invites us to not be discouraged, but instead to examine the prophets message of God's never ending love for humanity and their sensitivity to evil.

In the second sermon of our series "The Prophets & The Divine Bullhorn", Fr. Tim invites us to examine the often dramatic and extreme lives the prophets of the old testament lead. He calls upon us to wrestle with the tension of difficult conversations the prophets call us to have, and to not get defensive, but get curious.

Fr. Tim opens up our new series, "The Prophets & The Divine Bullhorn" by discussing the calling to, and the lonliness and anguish of a prophetic life. Examples of prophets are given, both ancient and modern, from the prophet Jeremiah, to Martin Luther King Jr. This series will take us into the stories of the prophets, and will talk about their relevance in our modern age.

Our "Sabbath in the Suburbs" series concludes with a message about feasting. Father Tim encourages us to take the time to give thanks to God for the abundance of all we have been given, and to celebrate on our Sabbath days.  

In the third week of our Sabbath in the Suburbus series, Father Tim invites us to think about the time we are spending for the Sabbath -- what brings us joy and delight -- and think about who we are going to spend it with. Whether we are spending that time with a spouse, significant other, our children, our family, or a close friend, choosing to be intentional about the time we spend on our Sabbath days will help bring us closer to God and one another.

Continuing the sermon series "Sabbath in the Suburbs", the Rev. Tim Baer asks us to step back like God did on the seventh day of creation, and be attentive to the delight and awe in our lives. He asks us to find wonder and awe in the beauty of nature. He reminds us to savar and soak in the goodness of everything that God is doing and to give thanks to God.

During Back to School Sunday, Father Tim kicks off our "Sabbath in the Suburbs" sermon series. In this series, Father Tim will discuss practical ways of observing the Sabbath and making it holy. The Sabbath is both a commandment and a practice that God desires for us--one that will make us closer to Him and allow us to find joy and delight in our lives.
