We are to love our enemies as God loves His.

This morning we are encouraged to thoughtfully consider Christ's temptation in the wilderness, the seriousness of the event, and its implications for us as believers.

Scripture commands us to give thanks in all things, both good and bad. We are challenged to examine ourselves to see whether we are thankful towards God and our neighbor.

Jesus experienced being alone on the cross so that we do not have to suffer the agony and loneliness of Hell for eternity, but rather that we could experience the glorious joy of union and fellowship with Christ.

We were encouraged by learning about the Holy Spirit and His work in our lives, and examined what grieving the Holy Spirit means and ways in which we can avoid doing so.

The Lord has redeemed us that we might worship Him sincerely with our whole lives.

God has saved us to serve Him in sincerity, and He desires to use us to gather others who will as well.

As King, Jesus will come again to judge all men at the end of history.

As part of the Father's promise to subdue His enemies under His feet, the Lord brought judgment on the unbelieving Jews in 70 AD.

After Jesus died and rose again, He ascended into heaven where He was crowned King, with the promise that all would one day bow to Him.
