As we move into the new year, we consider the miracles that Jesus performed, which help to reveal his character to us. We are also encouraged by the fact that God's Word is more powerful than miracles to save.

We consider the temptations that Jesus endured as the second Adam, seeing that instead of giving into them like the first, He overcame them in order to bring salvation to His people.

We meditate on Christ's love for us and His work in us which He will perfect until the day of Christ Jesus.

Psalm 4 teaches us to have confidence through Christ to call on God when we are distressed, to caution non-Christians, and to count God's blessings to us.

God’s love for this fallen world was so great, that He gave what was most precious to Him, that whoever believes in His Son would not perish but have everlasting life.

As the Father gave us His Son, and as His Son gave us His life, so we are to love Them by giving ourselves to serve others.

Don’t envy what your neighbor has - be content with the riches the Lord has given you in Jesus.

God is pleased with us when we walk in His way of love.
