The presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives gives us the ability to grow and mature in our faith. As we grow and mature there are changes that take place. We are no longer what we once were. We need the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives as He uses the Word of God to transform us.

The suffering and death of Jesus the Christ was necessary to satisfy the righteous wrath of God. Sin demands a penalty. That penalty is death. As the spotless Lamb of God Jesus suffered and died, taking the place of sinners.
