Grace Church of the Bay Area

As each New Year beings, we often hear the phrase -carpe diem- which means seize the day. But as Christians, we are called not to seize the day but to live in light of what the future holds- to live in light of our eternal life, the life that Christ's sacrifice allows to have and which He freely gives to us. Listen in as Pastor Roger preaches 1 Corinthians 7 29-31, detailing the mantra we should have as Christians- Carpe Futurum.

Listen in as we finish off chapter 6 of 1 Corinthians and begin a multi-week series titled -God's body, God's choice-. Part 1 focuses on -Liberty and License-.

However, we have the tendency to expect certain treatment, and often end up taking advantage of these freedoms we are accustomed to. Continuing last week's topic in dealing with disputes, Pastor Roger details five motivations to avoid legal disputes.
