Scott Mozingo begins our Songs series by teaching through the lyrics of I Will Look Up. Though we are often dominated by our worries and fears, the presence of God grants perfect peace if we trust in Him.

Jesus enthroned means our sin is taken away and God's wrath is satisfied. Are you on mission and clothed with power from on high? Are you worshipping Jesus with joy and boldness?

Matt discusses Jesus' next appearance to His disciples along with the importance of His bodily resurrection as proof the power of sin has been broken as well as the necessity of repentance that leads to forgiveness.

Jim Taylor teaches on Luke 24:13-34 as Jesus has risen from the dead and appears to some of his disciples on the road to Emmaus. Through this story, Jim shows that Jesus is the fulfillment of our best hopes, but not necessarily our misplaced ones.

Matt continues teaching on the death of Jesus and how his sacrifice allows us to enter into rest.

Matt discusses the key people Luke mentions at the trial and crucifixion and contrasts what they said and did to an innocent Jesus with His response and exchange for them.

Matt teaches from Luke 19 as Jesus enters Jerusalem in preparation for his death. Jesus goes into the temple, exposes the corruption, and begins to teach, taking ownership as King and Messiah. Are we willing to let Jesus come in, expose our sin, and take ownership of our lives?

Matt discusses Peter's denial during Jesus' trial, his restoration after the resurrection and the dramatic change brought about by the indwelling Spirit after pentecost.

Matt Williams teaches from Luke 18:9-14 emphasizing Jesus' message that good people cannot go to heaven. Once again it is those who recognize their sin and need for Jesus who will be exalted, and those who have confidence in their own righteousness will be humbled.
