The purpose of the glory of Jesus the Holy Spirit and the Father is to show LOVE. Jesus wants us to know that love. Jesus prays this to God the Father in the 17th chapter of John.

When Jesus asked the disciples to follow Him, it wasn't easy. They left everything immediately and followed Him! It should be the same for you and me. It's hard to truly follow Him, but the rewards outway the hardship.

When Jesus talks to the disciples about peace, it's the day before He is taken to be tried and ultimately crucified. Jesus expects us to be connected to Him. If we are we will have His peace even in the midst of war!

Make sure that you aren't entering into problems and wars that aren't yours. You could be yanking on a dog's ear. Focus on your personal walk with Jesus!

Your sorrow turning to joy sounds strange and difficult, but if you know Christ, it is a promise, you will have joy! Jesus explained this to the disciples using an amazing illustration that still holds true today.

As followers of Christ, we are guaranteed peace and prosperity, but peace and prosperity are not defined by the world!

We have been gifted the Holy Spirit, and He will point us to Jesus. He is our new best friend, help, advocate, comforter, counselor! He dwells in and with you. Rely on the Holy Spirit!

The Lord is FAITHFUL! Don't stray from Him. Keep pressing toward the goal, and stand fast in Him! We can learn from Asa more about how we run our race for Jesus.

Just after Jesus taught us that we should love one another and that we need to be connected to Him, He lays a big one on us! The world is going to HATE you! But he tells us this so that we know the truth. It's not easy to follow Christ. Trust Him and His Holy Spirit!
