Deuteronomy is important. It's so important it's the book quoted by Jesus directly to Satan! There are so many laws and passages that need to be interpreted and applied and then there can be a greater application to passages too. "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness," II Timothy 3:16

God created the old covenant in order to bring you to the NEW covenant. The laws in the old testament will leave you feeling depressed! You cannot keep the 10 commandments, you can't live a perfect life, BUT through Jesus and the Holy Spirit, your heart can be changed!

The Gospel message isn't always an easy thing to swallow. Many people can't and turn away, but true believers don't leave! We need to believe like Peter when Jesus asked the disciples if they would leave too: "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life."

Our entire Bible is important. You might look at the book of Deuteronomy and think, "This is a bunch of stuff I'll never need." Well, Jesus quotes this book to the devil! If it's good enough for Him, then I think it's good enough for you!

What are you consuming? You know the phrase, "You are what you eat," Well, what are you consuming in your life? Television, Work, family time? Are you taking the time to eat the "Bread of LIfe?"

God doesn't allow His people to be cursed! He'll send a talking donkey before He lets that happen! BUT beware you can be deceived! Look to Jesus and His Word!

Jesus is The Bread of Life! Come to him to be filled and to be satisfied. Spend time in His presence! He cares and He loves you!
